🤔Why JSMF?

JSMF’s purpose is to bring together young professionals from across the political spectrum in Washington, DC, to engage in meaningful debates on pressing issues. Our vision is to create a space where individuals from diverse perspectives can come together to freely debate challenging ideas in a civil, respectful, and constructive manner.

We believe DC has a real need—especially among recent graduates and young professionals—for a space that encourages thoughtful dialogue and celebrates ideological diversity. While Washington offers a plethora of networking opportunities, these spaces tend to be insular, attracting like-minded individuals. The Forum aims to fill this void, creating a community of engaged, curious, and intellectually rigorous individuals who can learn from one another and bridge divides.
